The consultant will analyze and provide suggested changes to insurance requirements in client’s contracts to reduce client’s contractual risk.What can you expect?The consultant will also use contract review resources to provide clients with contract review templates and tools to help simplify and streamline the review process.This position requires a general understanding of a broad range of commercial lines insurance for mid-sized to large commercial clients, and in-depth knowledge of Commercial General Liability insurance.What’s in it for you?Opportunity to engage across different business areas to understand the services and functions Marsh McLennan delivers to clientsCompetitive pay, generous benefits, employer matching and contribution to 401kGenerous paid time off, sick time, volunteer day per year and company paid holidaysWe will count on you for the following responsibilities:Review insurance requirements in contracts and provide suggested changes based on the client’s insurance program, research on best practices, and the consultant’s experience working on contract reviews for other clients.Prepare client-customized contract review tools and insurance requirement templates as needed to simplify and streamline the contract review process and reduce client’s contractual risk.Provide guidance to clients on contract review questions.Comply with company policy and procedures for maintaining correspondence, timekeeping, and expense reporting.Client Service:Assess and respond to client’s contract review needs in a thoughtful and timely manner.Coordinate with colleagues throughout the Marsh network and perform research across various technology platforms as needed to address client’s needs.Use Marsh systems to organize and track contract reviews.Respect and maintain client confidentiality.What you need to have:At least 3-10 years of relevant experience at an insurance carrier, law firm, or in corporate risk management managing commercial liability insurance, including Commercial General Liability insurance.Bachelor s degree or equivalentGeneral knowledge of various types of ISO additional insured endorsementsWhat makes you stand out?Experience in insurance placement and issuance of certificates of insuranceProficient in company sanctioned software and systems, Microsoft Office Products especially Word and Excel, as well as relevant use of Internet.Proficient in English language (speaking, reading and writing).
